Even More Traditional WoW Blog Posts

I love me a good typology. Yup give me a bag full of M&Ms and I'll divide them into piles of blue, green, and red before I eat them.

So I've got to thank World of Matticus for beginning a typology. Matticus posted a "Types of WoW Blog Posts" list and I'm going to add to it:

The "I live in WoW" post

Otherwise known as a "take the red pill" or role-playing post.

Examples:

Anything from Need More Rage

The Jazz Riff Post

WoW blogging is often a community activity. You are not an island, you are not a rock. Or you don't have to be. A common post type is a post commenting or expanding on another blogger's post.

Example:

This post I'm writing now.

The I'm Good with Crayons Post

You don't have to write something to have an interesting post. Comics, videos, screenshots are all valid and interesting ways to WoW blog:

Example

Aspect of the Hare's That Fateful Day

The Good-bye Post

Also known as the "I've found real-life and they have pie" post.

Example

The Absence Post

This type of post is more of an exsistential state. You'll find it by not finding it, ya know? Ye olde blogger hasn't posted anything recently and there is a long stretch of your RSS feed not listing their name.

Examples:

You'll know it when you see it or don't see it...ach!...you know what I mean.
